BRUCK luminaires FAQ
Installing a BRUCK luminaire is simple and safe, provided the instructions in the installation manual and DIN VDE 0100-559 are followed. Each luminaire is supplied with detailed installation instructions that explain step by step how to carry out the installation.
For professional and safe installation, we recommend having the installation carried out by a qualified electrician. This will ensure that all connections are made correctly, that the applicable standards are observed and that your light works perfectly. The qualified electrician will also ensure that life and limb are protected from electric shock during installation and use of the lights. To prevent the risk of fire, their effect on the surroundings must be taken into account when selecting and installing luminaires. The maximum output of the luminaire and the heat resistance of the neighbouring materials around the luminaire are essential.

Our dimmer recommendation
BRUCK luminaires rely on the highest quality of light. As standard, our luminaires offer the popular warm white light colour of 2,700K, which creates a particularly cosy atmosphere.
Many of our light models are also available in 3,000K on request - ideal for slightly more neutral yet warm lighting.
For natural colour rendering, BRUCK only uses LEDs with a high colour rendering index (CRI) of at least 90 Ra, in some cases even 97 Ra. This means that colours with BRUCK luminaires appear almost as brilliant as in daylight - ideal for vivid lighting in living spaces, offices or business premises.

Yes, the LED luminaires from BRUCK are dimmable - using a conventional phase dimmer that is mounted in the wall. However, choosing the right dimmer is crucial for optimal dimming.
Not all dimmers are equally suitable. We recommend the following models for reliable and flicker-free dimming:
Rotary dimmer: Vadsbo VD300 - ideal for installation in the wall.
Dimming via push-button & Casambi: Vadsbo LD220WCM - perfect for control via a push-button or the Casambi app.
After installation, it is important to set the dimmer correctly to ensure smooth operation.
